This Privacy Policy outlines how X.Music handles your information when you use our iPad application and companion website.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from our users. X.Music does not require any login or account creation to use the app.
Any preferences you select—such as artists, channels, or playback settings—are stored locally on your device. This information is not shared externally or transmitted to any server.
X.Music utilizes the YouTube Data API indirectly through our secure server infrastructure. Our server periodically fetches and stores publicly available video links and metadata from official YouTube music channels and artists, in accordance with YouTube’s API terms.
The app itself does not directly communicate with YouTube’s API or access any user-related data. However, when a user plays a video, the app uses the official YouTube Player to stream content. During playback, YouTube may collect usage data as part of their standard service (e.g., IP address, device/browser details, etc.).
Use of any YouTube content is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
To improve performance and reduce API usage, X.Music periodically fetches and stores publicly available video links from selected YouTube music channels on our secure server. The app then retrieves those video links from our server instead of querying YouTube directly. No user-specific data is collected, stored, or transmitted during this process.
X.Music is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adults. The app does not include any form of tracking, analytics, or targeted advertising.
If our privacy practices change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly. Changes will be clearly posted within the app or on our website.
